The Qa’id Ameer Abdul- Majeed Staten (QAAMS)
Hajj Foundation was organized due to the tragic
death of a dutiful and committed young man. On
Tuesday, April 29th, 2003, the very same day of
Qa’id’s burial, numerous young adults gathered to
express affection for their comrade. Upon reflecting
on Qa’id’s generosity, the group unanimously decided
to create an organization that would give back to
the community as Qa’id so often did willingly. The
QAAMS Hajj Foundation was designed with youth in
mind.
Mission Statement
The mission of The QAAMS Hajj Foundation is
to promote peace, uplift humanity and enhance
society through spirituality, education, and
recreation thus ensuring the preservation of the
precious lives of our youth.

Foundation Objectives
The foundation will provide forums to explore issues
that effect our youth, clarify values and morals,
establish focus groups, conduct seminars and engage
youth in wholesome recreation and socialization.
In addition the foundation will partner with other
community-based organizations.
